One of the main focuses of the Pinehurst VTAA is to plan and conduct annual fundraisers for scholarships for local students that are aspiring to attend Va. Tech.  Our Chapter conducted its first fundraiser in 2009 by hosting the Va. Tech vs ECU Tailgating Party.  This resultant in the initial establishment of the scholarship fund in the amount of $500. 

Scholarships for the Pinehurst VTAA Chapter are held and segregate in the general scholarship fund in Blacksburg in the University Foundation under Pinehurst Chapter Name.
